GEC is working with Vecova and Larkspur Group to design a new concept for this nearly 50 year old Calgary facility. The new Vecova will provide new wellness, employment and living support spaces, administrative and social innovation space, a pool and state-of-the-art recycling centre.

The challenge we faced on this project was not only representing the facility correctly, but representing the people who will be using the facility realistically - a mix of people from the very young to the very old, with and without disabilities and a wide ethnic variation. In visualization we call this “entourage” and can be a challenging part of what we do.
